Customers affectionately refer to our Moorhead branch as “The Lodge,” and you’ll soon discover why when you visit.
“Although the space is large, it feels inviting and homey,” remarks Brenda Messerschmidt, branch manager. “Our fireplace has a warm and welcoming presence.”
Customers often comment on how beautiful the building is. And if you stay awhile, you’ll find many longtime customers frequently stop in just for a cup of coffee and a cookie while they visit with each other and the friendly staff in the stone fireplace seating area.
“Our customers are genuinely loyal to the Moorhead branch,” Brenda notes. “It’s a neighborly place where friends run into each other and have lengthy conversations.”
Starting as State Bank of Moorhead in 1996, the branch moved to its present location on 8th Street in 2000.
