What I enjoy most about working at Bell is the company treats employees as stewards. Employees are empowered to make decisions in the best long-term interest of our clients, which is not common in our industry.

As a portfolio manager, I help our investment management team and clients make investment and financial decisions. My role involves taking large amounts of often complex information and translating it into something people can understand. Ideally, that helps make an individual’s financial life easier and ultimately more rewarding. My favorite aspect is seeing our clients enjoy life and use their money in a fulfilling way.

Originally from Greenbush, Minn., I earned a business administration degree from Mayville State University in Mayville, N.D., before starting my investment management career in 2002. Along the way, I was a Private Wealth magazine Due Diligence All-Star nominee, I’ve been quoted in the Financial Times and Forbes magazine and have made numerous appearances on WCCO Radio.

My wife, Jenna, and I have 2 children. Outside of work, you’ll often find me reading about business and participating in anything outdoors or athletic.
