David Gaddie
Director of Community Development
In my role with Bell Bank, my goal is to develop business and help promote Bell – what our brand represents, how we can help individuals and businesses in the Twin Ports, and how we can contribute to making our community an even better place.
I’m excited to be part of Bell, with its culture of “happy employees and happy customers,” as we introduce Bell and represent the bank in our community.
I’ve been in banking and finance for nearly 50 years – first at U.S. Bank, and most recently, as president of Republic Bank. I’ve been honored to serve as chair for various community organizations, including my current role as chairman of the board of Essentia Health.
Originally from East Grand Forks, Minn., I graduated from Minnesota State University – Moorhead, where I majored in business administration, banking and finance, and completed my studies at the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers University.
My wife, Barbara, and I live in Duluth. Our 2 grown children are both married, and we have 3 grandchildren. Outside of work, I enjoy downhill skiing, snowmobiling, golfing, reading and spending time with my spouse and our family.
