SVP/Commercial Banking Manager
In my position at Bell, I lead a team of commercial and industrial lenders, while managing and growing my own portfolio of business. I enjoy working with a talented team of lenders and support professionals who have the customers’ best interest always in mind. We are transparent about our decision-making process and work to provide a custom credit package, allowing customers to focus on their business.
I consider myself a generalist as a lender, so I can quickly learn and adapt to each customer and how they do business. More specifically, we focus on capital needs, improvement and expansion projects, and equipment financing to help customers become even more efficient as they grow.
Our typical customer is a closely held business based in the Midwest. They generally provide a niche product or service and focus their efforts on speed of delivery and meeting and exceeding their customers’ demands. What’s really interesting to me is that most of our customers mirror the profile of Bell Bank and our focus on delivery and service. That’s why our story and value proposition resonate with so many.
I’m originally from Rosemount, Minn., and earned my bachelor’s degree from Minnesota State University – Mankato. I’ve worked in commercial and consumer banking since 2002 and previously held positions with Wells Fargo (where I was named SBA Lender of the Year) and Associated Bank.
My wife, Jodi, and I have 2 sons and live in Lakeville. Away from work, my interests include coaching, fishing, and enjoying sporting events with family and friends.Connect with me on LinkedIn
