Nathan Berseth

Market Development Officer

What I enjoy most about working at Bell Bank are my co-workers and clients. My experience with Bell prior to working here was extremely positive. As an employee, my experience with the culture, my colleagues and the positive atmosphere is even greater. In addition, the clients I meet with are outstanding, and I appreciate the opportunity to work with them.

While my position varies greatly day to day, my ultimate goal is connecting potential clients who would be a great fit for Bell with an amazing bank that can assist them with their finances. Representing Bell Bank creates endless opportunities.

A Colfax, N.D., native, I attended North Dakota State College of Science and Minnesota State University Moorhead. Prior to Bell, I worked for U.S. Senator Byron Dorgan and eventually launched my own companies. Along the way, I was also named Small Business Administration Disadvantaged Small Business Advocate for Region 9. In addition to officiating college basketball, I currently hold the position of Richland County Commissioner and president of the Richland #44 school board.

My wife, Janelle, and I live in rural Colfax and have a daughter.

Outside of work, I often spend time with my horse and taking care of my daughter’s chickens, as well as officiating collegiate and high school basketball.
