I appreciate Bell Bank’s outstanding reputation for how the company treats customers and employees. In my role, I serve as liaison to all regulatory agencies and assist with enhancing credit risk identification, measurement, and monitoring policies and practices. My extensive regulatory experience should benefit the credit risk team, and the company as a whole, surrounding the regulatory process.

A Hatton, N.D. native, I earned a bachelor’s degree in banking and finance from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, N.D., before attending the University of Wisconsin – Graduate School of Banking in Madison, Wis. Prior to joining Bell Bank, I worked for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) for more than 33 years, along the way earning recognition including Corporate Manager of the Year in 2009 and numerous special achievement and sustained performance awards.

My wife, Tiffany, and I live in St. Michael, Minn., and have 2 daughters. Outside of work, I enjoy exercise, golf, time at our lake cabin, and spending time with friends and family.
