After qualifying for the world championships in South Africa in 2017, Branden became passionate about triathlons. In 2018, he competed in 12 triathlons, setting 5 course records around North Dakota and Minnesota and placing sixth in his age group in the International Triathlon Union (ITU) World Championship in Australia.
“Triathlons are long mental and physical competitions that bring out a different side of yourself and show what you’re fully capable of. Not accepting mental barriers in a race allows you to go further in all aspects of your life. Sponsors like Bell make it all possible. It means a lot, and it’s awesome to have the support of my hometown bank no matter where I am.”
How I chose Bell:I’ve banked with Bell my whole life.
What I like about banking with Bell:It’s convenient, comfortable and friendly – everyone is always smiling. It’s refreshing to walk into a place like that. Bell is a reliable bank that is always looking to make their customers happy. A big bank with a small-town feel, Bell makes sure you and your finances are taken care of. This, along with their amazing support of the communities around them, makes them stand out, not only among banks, but among all local businesses.
Why I’ve stayed with Bell over the years:It’s something I grew up with, and having the security of my home-town bank makes it easy to stay with Bell. If there are ever any problems, I can always call and solve them.
My favorite branch:When I’m in Fargo, I use the Timber Creek branch on 52nd Avenue. The Chandler, Ariz., branch is about 100 miles from where I am in Tucson, but I’ve biked there a couple of times. Bell also makes it easy to do mobile and online banking.
My Bell products and services:Personal checking (with Ready Reserve), savings.
My favorite Bell features:Mobile and online banking is huge – I like being able to deposit checks and check on my accounts from thousands of miles away.
What it means to bank with a company that gives back to the community:It means everything. My family at SCHEELS does the same thing, so that’s something I look for in businesses I support.
