Deposit a Check Anytime, From Anywhere!
Snap a photo of your check, and deposit it safely and securely – while avoiding deposit slips, lines or time out of your busy day to stop by a branch. The funds will be deposited within 2 business days.
Here's how to deposit a check from your mobile device:
- For starters, you need to be enrolled in Online Banking and download the Bell Bank mobile app for iPhone®, iPad® or Android™.
- To deposit a check, tap on “Menu” then choose “Deposit Check” from the Bell Bank mobile app.
- Choose the account you would like to deposit the check into, and then enter the amount of the check you are depositing.
- Sign the back of your check, and write “Bell Mobile Deposit” underneath your signature (or check the "Mobile Deposit" box on your check, if applicable).
- Follow the on-screen instructions to take a photo of the front and back of your endorsed check with your smartphone camera, then send the image to the bank for deposit.
- Shred the original check after you can see the deposit in your account transaction history.
