Meet David
I started my mortgage career in 2020, and what I enjoy most is knowing I’ve had a hand in helping clients with a very big moment in their lives, whether they’re buying a home or refinancing their mortgage. I like to assure and encourage you throughout the process and do whatever I can to make your journey to homeownership as painless as possible.
Originally from Urbandale, Iowa, I earned an associate’s degree in business from Des Moines Area Community College in Ankeny, Iowa, and a bachelor’s degree in business from Upper Iowa University in Fayette. My wife, Shannon, and I live in Shawnee, Kan., and have 3 children. Outside of work, I enjoy hanging out with family and friends, golfing, biking, running and anything else fitness-related, as well as yard work and home projects. My favorite sport teams are the Iowa Hawkeyes (in any sport,) the KC Royals and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Community Involvement
- I am working with the Upchurch Foundation which helps military men and women. I worked with the Calin Strahm Foundation last year and helped raise money for two women I know with cancer. I also give blood regularly and volunteer at the Johnson County Christmas Bureau.
