Minnesota Coach Lindsay Whalen a Bell Bank ‘Champion’

Whalen will be featured in advertising and social media, host select customer meet-and-greet events, and provide signed merchandise for designated Bell events. Bell will also seek opportunities to pay it forward with Whalen through support of her favorite charities or causes.

Currently in her first full season as the head women’s basketball coach at the University of Minnesota, Whalen was born and raised in Hutchinson, Minn. Whalen went on to star at Minnesota, where she became the only four-time team MVP in school history, led the team to its first-ever NCAA Final Four appearance, and had her jersey retired in 2005. Drafted by Connecticut, she starred for the Minnesota Lynx of the WNBA, winning four WNBA championships, two world championships and two Olympic gold medals.

Whalen is married to former University of Minnesota All-American golfer Ben Greve.
