When Bell State Bank & Trust employee Paula Swanson first asked her dad to do the 60-mile Susan G. Komen 3-day walk and help raise awareness and funds for breast cancer, he said, "No way." But when she and his wife and other three daughters told them how important it was to them, he agreed, and together, the family made the pink-paved walk. Paula and her team raised over $12,600 through fundraising, Pay It Forward funds and personal donations from her coworkers.
