Donation Helps Soup Kitchen Continue Feeding the Hungry

St. Mary’s Soup Kitchen in Albany, Ore., feeds people three days a week and relies on volunteers and donations to make those meals happen. The parish started its soup kitchen in the early 1980s and needed a new refrigerator.
Michelle Enge is a loan coordinator in Bell’s Phoenix, Ariz., location. Her dad volunteers for the soup kitchen three days a week from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., so when he told her about the need, she decided to use her Pay It Forward funds to help.
