Showing Support for Troops Stationed Overseas
Some of our employees spent their time and Pay It Forward donations helping make sure soldiers serving overseas are not forgotten over the holidays.

Lubrication Technologies, Inc., based in Golden Valley, Minn., coordinates an effort to send care packages to soldiers serving overseas during the holidays.
“Oftentimes holiday plans consist of juggling schedules to spend time with family and friends, and while that might be stressful to some, others don’t have the opportunity to be with their loved ones,” remarks Amy Jo Van Culin, Bame Foundation/philanthropy manager at Lubrication Technologies.
The care packages are filled with items such as toiletries, games, snacks, letters from children and thank-you notes from Troop Box sponsors.
When Lloyd heard about Lube-Tech’s Troop Box, he decided to donate his Pay It Forward funds to the effort, and he rallied some of his co-workers to join him.
“It’s such a good cause,” Lloyd notes. “A lot of the troops don’t get holiday cards or anything because they’re in such remote places, and it has to be airlifted in.”
Several Bell employees also volunteered their time to help pack the boxes. Along with the other volunteers, they packed more than 1,350 holiday boxes for our troops overseas.
