I have a particular passion for helping our active military and veterans, especially with my family’s history of service. My grandfather was in the U.S. Air Force. Not only did my husband serve in the U.S. Army and Marine Corps, but my oldest son also actively serves in the Air Force, and our youngest son actively serves in the Army. Many other family members and close friends have served, and I’ve also volunteered in Wounded Warrior projects.
