Faced with a challenging market landscape, Modist Brewing in Minneapolis sought to grow its business through the addition of an event space. 

To help finance the expansion, Modist needed the help of a banking partner they could count on. They turned to Bell Bank, which walked the brewery through every step of the SBA loan process. 

While that project was ongoing, Modist also looked to enter the non-alcoholic beverage market, but needed extra storage space to make it work. For that, too, they worked with Bell. 

“We’re always bouncing things off Bell and saying, ‘What do you think the best path is here?’” says Modist co-owner Daniel Paul Wellendorf. “Working with Bell has helped us create a sound vision.”
