Christine Christensen

SVP/Private Banking Officer

As a private banker, I manage banking relationships for my clients and their families. Working with several generations of individuals within families is a very satisfying aspect of those relationships. My portfolio of clients is varied – from families who are retired or those nearing retirement, to successful professionals and business owners, to others who are just starting out. My 30 years of banking experience helps me see each client’s needs as unique.

I get to know my clients; I enjoy solving their problems. Together, we look for the most effective ways to deploy assets or fund credit.

I grew up in Nebraska and graduated high school in Sioux City, Iowa. My bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University is in English literature, with a minor in philosophy.

My first job in Minneapolis was with National City Bank in 1976. I have worked in the Private Client Group at First Bank, U. S. Bank, Private Bank Minnesota, and BMO Harris. I took a 13-year maternity leave to raise my 4 children.

I was honored to receive the Women in Business Award from the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal in 2013.

My husband, Anders, and I live in Minneapolis. We are deeply grateful for a modern family of 8 children with spouses, partners, and grandchildren. We thoroughly enjoy spending time with and traveling to see our extended family.
