How we chose Bell:

Definitely Darci Eggen (commercial and agricultural lender). She’s worked really hard for us, and she understands what it takes to run the operation. We really appreciate everything she’s done. We wouldn’t be able to do what we love, which is farming, without her and the team at Bell. They’ve helped make our dreams a reality.
And Becky Snyder (mortgage lender) helped us with our new home mortgage. With the farm transition, we have dealt with a lot of people at Bell, and they have always been respectful, and they work really hard for us. We’ve just found it very easy to be there.

What I tell others about Bell:
Walking into Bell, it’s so much different than other banks. Everybody’s so friendly. They’re quick, and they’re knowledgeable about what the farmer is doing. Some banks don’t understand farming. But at Bell, they understand what’s going on in agriculture.

Being it’s a local bank, they understand more about farming and what it takes and the risks involved, and they’re willing to work with us rather than get nervous about what we’re doing. They understand what we’re up to and the aspects of farming.
