Bell Bank has named Jenny Senecal deputy chief credit officer. With this promotion, Jenny becomes one of our “next generation” of leaders, having previously served as senior vice president/regional credit director.
Officed at Bell Plaza in Bloomington, Jenny works closely with executive vice president/chief credit officer Jon Aarsvold to lead Bell’s credit risk culture. Jenny is responsible for managing commercial credit origination and approval, with all regional credit approvers reporting directly to her as her responsibilities for the overall quality of the loan portfolio, across all regions, continue to expand.
“Jenny’s experience and dedication to creating a collaborative partnership between credit risk management and commercial banking teams have been key drivers of success since she joined Bell,” Jon says. “She has been instrumental in helping build and maintain a culture of respect and candor, and has continued to take on additional credit authority while providing leadership and guidance.”
Originally from Woodbury, Minn., Jenny graduated from Winona State University with a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics and earned her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management. She has more than 25 years of diversified experience in financial services and joined Bell Bank in 2011. She was recognized by Finance & Commerce as one of the Twin Cities’ Top Women in Finance in 2013 and was named one of Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal’s top Women in Business in 2018. She and her husband live in Apple Valley and have 3 children.
Congratulations on your promotion, Jenny!
