About Jesse
As chief risk officer, Jesse Schwab is responsible for Bell Bank’s enterprise risk management program and compliance with laws and regulations.
Jesse joined Bell in 2020 after serving as chief compliance officer for a regional bank, where he oversaw areas including consumer compliance, fair lending practices, and obligations under the Community Reinvestment Act, in addition to serving as the bank’s regulatory liaison. Prior to that, he was a private practice attorney with a focus on consumer protection and bankruptcy matters.
Originally from Bismarck, N.D., Jesse graduated from the University of North Dakota with a degree in political science and earned his juris doctorate from California Western School of Law in San Diego. He currently serves on the board of directors for Simpson Housing Services.
Jesse lives in Eden Prairie, Minn., with his wife and daughter.
