About Laine
Laine Brantner has a long history with Bell Bank, having guided operations of our wealth management and HealthcareBank divisions. Laine joined the bank in 2002 and was heavily involved in the creation of our sister company, Discovery Benefits, as well as our HealthcareBank strategy. From 2008 to 2015, he held positions with Lighthouse1, Evolution1 and WEX Health before rejoining Bell in 2015.
In 2020, Laine was named Bell’s chief operating officer – a role encompassing executive support and leadership for areas including bank operations, mortgage servicing, information systems, human resources, risk management, finance and facilities management. He also serves as president of Bell’s HealthcareBank division, which provides service and operational support for managing health savings account (HSA) deposits and investments.
A native of Fargo, N.D., Laine earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Iowa and an MBA from Baylor University’s Hankamer School of Business.
Laine and his wife, Tiffani, live in West Fargo, N.D., and have four children.
