Bell Helps Fund Grants to Arizona Nonprofits

As part of our work in the community, Bell Bank is a member of the Arizona Community Reinvestment Collaborative (ACRC). The organization recently announced $35,000 in grants to 6 Arizona nonprofits, with prioritized programs serving Indigenous communities.
ACRC’s grant funding pool is made possible through the partnership of Bell and 12 other banks. 2024 grants included $30,000 to the Bambi Fund for its Mohave House project, which develops abandoned historic buildings into affordable commercial spaces for small businesses owned and operated by people from historically excluded communities. The group’s pilot development project in downtown Phoenix aims to provide affordable commercial spaces for 2-3 small business start-ups, with access to business development and growth resources.
In addition, ACRC awarded $1,000 mini-grants to Cihuapactli Collective, Laptops 4 Learning, Native American Advancement Foundation, Phoenix Indian Center and Rehoboth CDC. (Read more about those organizations and projects here.)
Reine Hamilton, SVP/commercial banking manager/specialty markets in Phoenix, comments, “We’re very proud to be a part of ACRC and help champion nonprofit organizations. Their efforts have tremendous impact in strengthening our communities.”
Thank you to ACRC and these nonprofit organizations for the important work you do! We’re happy to partner with you.
