Brooks is a partner and co-founder of LongWater Opportunities, a private equity firm focusing on U.S. manufacturing businesses.
A member of Bell’s board of directors since 2017, Brooks says serving on the board has helped him learn a lot about the marketplace. His experience in both ag and manufacturing provides valuable insight for the bank.
A graduate of the University of North Dakota, Brooks also holds a master's degree in business administration/finance from Southern Methodist University. He is an active board member of the Burgum Foundation, a private family foundation focused on innovative education programs and entrepreneurship in North Dakota.
Brooks and his wife, Taylor, live in Fargo with their two sons.
