Bell Bank recently partnered with Drekker Brewing in Fargo, North Dakota, and O.H.S.O. Brewery and Distillery in Gilbert, Arizona, to present donations totaling more than $16,000 to selected nonprofits as a culmination of the annual Pay It Forward Brewing Collection.
Bell, Drekker and O.H.S.O. combined to donate $2 for every pint sold of two Pay It Forward beers created for Emmy Award-winning actor Josh Duhamel and country music artist and sports radio personality Chris Hawkey.
Both Bell Champions, Duhamel and Hawkey are Bell brand ambassadors and Pay It Forward partners.
Bell, Drekker and O.H.S.O created limited-time brews Rough Cut IPA honoring Duhamel, and Mic Czech Pilsner for Hawkey.
Past Pay It Forward Collection beers included Hall of Fame Helles honoring former professional hockey player Matt Cullen and Play-by-Play IPA for Minnesota sports broadcaster Marney Gellner.
Checks were presented to Duhamel’s chosen charity, the Detroit Lakes Boys & Girls Club, and Hawkey’s selected nonprofit, REACH, both in Minnesota. In Phoenix, Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Central Arizona received a donation from the collaboration with O.S.H.O.
