Bell Bank Champion and longtime pro hockey player Matt Cullen is headed to the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame!

USA Hockey has announced that the Moorhead, Minn., native has been elected to the Hall of Fame Class of 2024.

Matt is one of only two U.S.-born players to play at least 1,500 NHL games (he’s second only to Chris Chelios). In his 21-year pro career, he won 3 Stanley Cup championships, helping his team to victory in each series with multiple goals and assists – tallying 58 points in 132 playoff games, and finishing his career with 731 points (266 goals and 465 assists) in 1,516 games.

All of us at Bell are proud to have Matt as one of our Bell Champions and ambassadors for good! Matt and his wife, Bridget, share our commitment to paying it forward. Their Cullen Children’s Foundation has provided financial help to children’s health organizations in Fargo-Moorhead since 2003, focusing especially on resources for children facing cancer.

Congratulations, Matt! We’re proud to have you represent us as a Bell Champion – and we look forward to your Hall of Fame enshrinement in December!
