Friesen Is President of Bell Bank in Maple Grove

Bell Bank has named Dean Friesen president of our Maple Grove (Minn.) bank, located at 15490 101st Ave. N. In his role, Dean provides leadership in community and commercial banking, with strategies and recruitment to help our business and personal customer base grow in Maple Grove and the northwest Twin Cities metro.

“We focus on bringing customers a full range of financial services from local bankers who are highly involved in their communities,” comments Tim McShane, community banking director for our Twin Cities and Duluth markets. “We are excited to have Dean on board, especially with his experience and leadership in the west metro area, to continue to build on the success of our team in Maple Grove.”

Dean earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Hamline University and graduated from the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the Wharton School of Business. He has spent more than 30 years in the banking field and was a market president with Alerus Financial prior to joining Bell in late September.
