Parkhurst, Hale Hired in Commercial Lending at Bell Bank

Bell Bank has hired Charlie Parkhurst and Brett Hale as commercial lenders on our Twin Cities banking team. Charlie has been named a senior vice president for commercial real estate lending and Brett a vice president in commercial and industrial (C&I) banking. Both have offices at Bell Plaza in Bloomington, Minn.

“Our commercial lending team not only helps developers and businesses, but also helps Bell finance projects that can improve neighborhoods and provide more affordable housing options,” says Erin Procko, Bell Bank’s Twin Cities banking director and president. “There are so many projects that make a tangible difference in the success of communities in the metro area.”

Charlie is originally from Deephaven, Minn., and graduated in finance from Iowa State University. He brings to Bell more than 17 years of commercial real estate portfolio and relationship management. In his role, Charlie works with commercial real estate owners, developers and managers to provide competitive loans and banking options. Prior to joining Bell, he held positions and Old National Bank, and most recently, MidCountry Bank.

Brett is originally from Wall, S.D., and earned a degree in finance at Minnesota State University, Mankato. He has been in banking and finance in the Twin Cities for more than two decades and has 8 years of experience in managing commercial relationships and loans.
