Bell Is One of People’s Companies That Care

Bell Bank has just been named to People magazine’s 2023 list of 100 Companies That Care.

This is the third year in a row that Bell Bank has been named to this list, and this year, Bell is listed among the top 10 companies at #8! That’s up from #87 in 2021 and #32 last year.

People’s Companies That Care list highlights “the top U.S. firms that have succeeded in business while also demonstrating outstanding respect, care and concern for their employees, their communities and the environment.” Great Place to Work determines the list by extensive surveys of millions of employees, assessing “the quality and consistency of employees’ experiences being cared for and caring for their communities” – making this recognition even more meaningful to us at Bell. Rankings also reflect the generosity of each organization’s benefits, philanthropy and community support.

As one of our employees commented in a survey, “There are so many things that make this company great. I think the Pay It Forward program is unique – it really gives the employees a sense of pride, power, and commitment to help others. It's one of the very first things I share with people when they ask me about my job.”

In its feature story, People highlighted an example of our Pay It Forward program’s reach, when physical security officer Andrew Gaydos was deployed in Romania for 10 month s with the Army Reserve. During his time there, Andrew used his Pay It Forward dollars to help the Salvation Army purchase school supplies for children and hygiene kits for families in impoverished neighborhoods.
