Shannon Hanson Receives 2026 Bell Value Award Honors
November 5, 2026

Bell Bank is proud to announce that Shannon Hanson, a wealth and fiduciary associate at the Bell Tower location in Fargo, is our 2026 Bell Value Award winner in the category of Unequaled Personal Service!
Shannon Hanson made sure a client with disabilities had food when his monthly benefits ran low. Without help, the man soon would not have had enough money to buy groceries. Shannon took a check to Hornbacher’s to purchase gift cards that would give him access to food.
When the store could not accept the check, Shannon contacted the out-of-state co-trustee and worked through the payment issue. She stayed with the task until the gift cards were purchased, then personally delivered them to the client’s home well after her workday ended. Her follow-through turned funds into groceries the client could use immediately and removed another barrier for someone with limited resources. Shannon did not let an administrative problem delay help or leave the client without food. She coordinated with the store and co-trustee, completed the purchase and made sure the gift cards reached the person who needed them. “Shannon’s kind heart made sure this young man was taken care of,” Brianne Bushard said. Her persistence, compassion and delivery protected the client’s immediate health and well-being.
Each year, Bell recognizes and celebrates our Bell Value Award nominees and winners whose selfless actions represent one of our three core values: family atmosphere, unequaled personal service, and paying it forward.
Congratulations, Shannon, and thank you for your exceptional kindness!
