Bell Names SBA Leader in Arizona

Matthew Mapes has been hired as SVP/Small Business Administration (SBA) lender for Bell Bank in Phoenix. In his new role, Matthew uses his extensive knowledge of the SBA and credit underwriting to help business owners evaluate and structure their loans to minimize risk and maximize their growth potential.

Matthew has 17 years of industry experience starting as a part-time teller to running the SBA loan division for Arizona Business Bank and most recently for Sunflower Bank which, during his time, was ranked the 5th largest SBA lending bank in the state of Arizona.
In 2015 Matthew was awarded the U.S. Small Business Administration Arizona Financial Services Champion of the Year, and 2019 Coleman SBA BDO of the year.
